Some individuals no longer function in a
vocational program or employment but still need social interaction,
cognitive training,
and opportunities to be as self-sufficient as possible. We offer
services to those people. In Billings (at the Billings Senior
Activity Program) we have a day center that provides many
opportunities for arts and crafts, movies, shopping, dining,
picnics, dances, walks, exercise, field trips, and volunteer work.
They will also assist people in maintaining their health.
We also offer specialized activities in our other programs that
focus on meeting the needs of elderly people.
Caregivers, children of elderly parents with Alzheimer's . . . Do you need a break?
Many of us have experienced the strain of having to provide 24-hour
care for our elderly parents, specifically those who have some
relief. We can provide respite services during the day, Monday
through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. while you go
shopping, get your hair done, get a massage, or just stay home to
relax in a hot tub. Fees are based on an hourly rate, daily rate, or
weekly rate. You will benefit because you can have some time to
yourself. They will enjoy the activities and the chance to meet new
people.
