Resource, Support, and Development, Inc. (also known as RSD Inc.) is a private, non-profit, Montana-based (501c3) corporation that was established in 1974 to provide an array of community-based supports and services to adult citizens with people with disabilities (18 years and older). We currently provide services in Billings, Lewistown, Hardin, and Red Lodge, but we can provide support in other communities, also.
Most of our services for people with disabilities are funded by the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). All people wanting admission to services funded by the DPHHS are first referred to them to determine if they are eligible. Once determined eligible, he/she is assigned a case manager and his/her name is placed on a waiting list. To find out more information, one can either call us at 406-652-5443 or the Developmental Disabilities Division at 406-259-8122.
We may also provide services to other people with disabilities, including those with Alzheimer’s or Traumatic Brain Injury. You must have financial sponsorship or the ability to privately pay the fees for those services.
The cost for our services varies, depending on the type of service provided, the needs of the person, the resources available from the funding source(s), and the natural supports that are available.
